Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience Framework (CSCRF)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The framework, introduced on August 20, 2024, is aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and ensuring robust cyber resilience for SEBI-regulated entities (REs).<\/li>\n<li>It addresses the evolving threat landscape and technological advancements, ensuring REs can withstand, respond to, and recover from cyber threats effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"ember54\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">2. Clarifications and Updates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Regulatory Forbearance<\/strong>: Compliance requirements under the CSCRF are effective from <strong>January 1, 2025<\/strong>. Regulatory forbearance is granted until <strong>March 31, 2025<\/strong>, allowing entities to demonstrate progress without facing regulatory actions during this period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Extended Compliance Deadlines<\/strong>: For specific categories of entities:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"ember56\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong> KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs)<\/strong>: Deadline extended to <strong>April 1, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ember57\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__paragraph\"><strong>Depository Participants (DPs)<\/strong>: Deadline extended to <strong>April 1, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Data Localisation Standards<\/strong>: Provisions for data localisation under \u201cData Security Standard (PR.DS.S2)\u201d are deferred for further consultation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"ember59\" class=\"ember-view reader-text-block__heading-3\">3.
